I think this movie is so much better than the first. Chris Weitz manages to fix some of the mistakes that Catherine Hardewicke made with Twilight and tell a meaningful tale at the same. While New Moon definitley does not reach it's full potential, i still loved it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
