So, I had very low expectations for this movie considering that Twilight was so bad. I thought the writing and dialogue of the first movie was terrible. Not to mention the lack of love between Bella and Edward, the relationship was hardly developed and Catherine Hardwicke made it seem very trivial and looks based. That said, New Moon was AMAZING the acting improved, the dialogue improved, and the movie actually followed to book to a T. Plus, the development of Jacob and Bella's friendship was played out beautifully. As a former Team Edward Die Hard, I might be now screaming Team Jacob because this movie developed a much better and believable relationship...Bottom line--spend the money, you are going to love it!
