Disappointing, but I still enjoyed it . . . kinda

Maybe my expectations were high but I was disappointed with the movie. The positive: it was funny & some scenes were good: Edward's sunglasses scene, the intimate dinner scene, in the Cullen's kitchen. There are some things that I can get over: the field trip, bad makeup (esp. Carlisle), Edward calling Bella a spidermonkey (which I thought was hilarious). What I can’t get over: the destroyed meadow scene, the lack of Edward & Bella's love, fast paced & short scenes, cheesy & corny acting. I don't understand how anyone who read the book could compare it to this horrific imitation. I wouldn't mind if the movie was actually decent. Sadly people who read or didn't read the book will be disappointed. It's a shame how this movie turned out.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
