Even if you don't love the books...

I have read all four in the series to placate my sisters but I was not crazy about them. I still found the movie very entertaining, almost more of a comedy than a romance. I feel like they really did try to capture the essence of the books. I would tell just about anyone to see this movie- this is pop culture in the making, people! Just remember that you are going to see a melodramatic teen chick flick and it might just surprise you.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
