Great Girl Fun

I thought that the movie was very good but my 12 year old daughter and her friends thought it was the "Best Movie Ever!" I felt that the movie was a good adaptation of the book and stayed true to the story line. However, I felt that the beginning of the movie was so compressed that it did not fill out the plot properly and this seemed to affect the dialogue of the characters. The second half of the movie, which was truer to the book, was great. Overall, a great movie that I'm sure I'll see again.
