Felt like everything was on fast forward. Book to movie translation sadly a complete failure. Those very special moments & conversations that made me fall in love w/the books are either drastically changed or NO WHERE! Disappointed, absolutely! I knew it would be difficult to create & bring across the stir of emotion & wit of the books on screen, however, I never imagined that so many pivotal scenes would be absolutely ruined, best parts of the book were completely ignored. How could they ruin the "meadow scene?" It's a shame that NONE of the relationships ever connected or seemed real, as for the special effects, why bother! The majority of the characters were merely shadows or fillers! What happened to the substance?
No, I do not recommend this movie.
