Was it supposed to be a spoof?

After seeing this movie, I had to re-read Twilight just to remember why I loved it so much.
I really felt that they were making fun of the book with this movie. There were many scenes that were down right comical, when they should have be intense and compelling.
Kristen Stewart looks like Bella, but she is not a good actress and bascially ruined the movie. I like Robert Pattinson, but the combination of his over-acting, and Kristen's under-acting resulted in a non-believable, non-passionate disaster.
I was impressed by Charlie.
I really hope New Moon goes better and Kristen Stewart learns how to act.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
