As most Twilight Fans, I love the books and realized the movie would not be exactly like the book. I don't feel they did a lot of character development in the beginning of the film to help show the building love story. I thought from the meadow scene on. it was very good. But the beginning was almost a highlight reel of the book rather than showing the mutual attraction between the two main characters. So much of the book is some of the sweetest and endearing dialogue that engages the reader to the book. Omitting this from the movie leaves the audience member feeling they missed something. But I am excited how they ended with Victoria.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
