This film is true to the book and overall, enjoyable. Could have used a bit more development of scenes, characters and situations --a la a Harry Potter type screenplay but overall, told the story.
Catherine Hardwicke needs to stay away from some of the quick moves on her tight close ups of crowds (MTV quick cut look). The location itself comes through well and doesn't need tricks. Plus we all want to see the characters!
Ballet studio scene was even better than previews hinted at and final film shot before the credits was really great!!!!!
Thanks for making this film and please continue the series!!!
