So, I read the books many times and I was highly antcipating the release of this movie. and I have to admit I was a little dissapointed. I attended the midnight showing with other "twilighters" and some people who never read the books. the ones who were in the dark, so to speak, enjoyed the movie more than the rest of us. I don't feel as though the touched upon the characters (the cullen clan imparticular) enough to show the true beauty of how wonderful they are! I would see it again and hope others go to see it, but that was definately a problem I had with this adaptation of the first book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
