I really liked the movie. I am from New Orleans and thought it was a pretty accurate representation of the city during that time. I also loved the message-- that you can't just wish on a star and expect everything to work out. You have to work hard for everything worth having in life, and that dreams do come true if you work hard and believe. Great movie. Go and see it.

This movie could have been over in 30 min., but they had to drag it out for an hour and 15 min. If you are Mexican you will enjoy, but others not so much. Good thing I didn't expect too much. Don't waste your money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
