A big-screen adaptation of a novel is always give-and-take. This one was no different. It's great to see the characters we're so attached to come to life in front of us, but we always feel slightly cheated because of the necessary condensing. Being a HUGE fan of the novels, I loved the movie and the cast. I have to admit that I laughed not only at the added humor but at what I call the "cheese factor". The movie had so many cheesy nuances and special effects, but I DIDN'T CARE!!! The cast was soooo hot that it just didn't matter. I could've watched Rob walk around in those shades all day! And the baseball game---SO SEXY!! Anyway...cheese or not, the movie was HOT. What's not to like?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
