Curiosity killed the cat. And Enthusiasm.

I watched Twilight ‘as a movie’ and removed the books from my mind. Frankly, I was let down on both counts. Bella and Edward constantly sound constipated, stiff, and awkward together. The only time they really meshed was in scenes where they were talking, but there was no audio. If you didn’t go into the movie already knowing the story, you were left confused; they cram in trivia, but then leave essential things out. It’s also incredibly rushed. Character and relationship development = zero. Good point? The baseball scene.
Long story short, movie did not sufficiently cater to a book fan or a movie-goer. Actually, had I seen the movie first, I would never have picked up the book.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
