Twilight - Worth the Hype? (Thechnical Gripes)

As a make-up artist, I thought the make-up/hair were atrocious. The make-up was too heavy & made the vampires look hokey. The hair extensions were horrible.
The soundtrack failed the movie. Not the songs, but the "scary" mood music was reminiscent of bad, B-movies from the '80s.
Jasper looked like a blend of Martin Short's face w/ Andy Dick's hair & a permanent look of surprise not too far removed from the expression Johnny Depp cultivated for his portrayal of Willy Wonka.
I was pleased w/ the story. I think it is most helpful 2 see the film if you've read the book.
The flashbacks R CHEESY!
Let's be honest, I'd pay 2 watch Rob Pattinson read the phone book w/ Muzak as a soundtrack. He IS that good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
