To begin with, the movie is not as good as the book. I felt that the movie was really funny and really well done when I was not trying to compare it to the book. They took out a lot of scenes and put in different scenes, and some of the characters know information that they shouldn't know, where in the book it doesn't get revealed until the very end. I felt that there was a lot of ascending action and then it never really hit a climax, no point of return. It maintained a good entertainment level but it almost seemed monotone. There are some really good parts and the acting has gotten exponentially better. To sum up the movie, it was good, but a bit disappointing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Before I went into the movie, I prepped myself knowing that the movie will probably not be as the book, but to see it as Twilight the movie, not Twilight the book made into a movie. I loved how they incorporated book quotes into the movie and how although some things were changed, it kept the same meaning as the books illustrated. Although there are some cheezy scenes, the book is cheezy. The special effects are kind of silly but there not too bad. All in all, I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who has read the books. It may be hard to follow if you haven't. The casting was awesome for the movie and hopefully they will be able to make the next few books to finish up the series!
