Opening night Twilight

The theater was packed, if I didn't get my tickets online we wouldn't have gotten in. It followed the book fairly well but I knew going in it could not be as GREAT as the book, they never are. The movie went by very fast & could easily been another hour (which every Twilight fan would LOVE). My disappointment was in the characters development particularly with Alice & Jacob! It had a few very funny moments made for the big screen & I loved the Stephenie Meyer cameo. I plan to go see it again with a friend who hasn't read the book. I hope that the DVD release will have tons of scenes that were cut simply for times sake. It looks like opening weekend will be a success for all involved SO... when is New Moon start production?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
