For all the hype this movie garnered and for as good as the books were---this movie definitely falls way short. There was alot of laughter throughout the theater, although most of it was not at intentionally funny parts. That is why I gave it a fair rating instead of poor---I don't think I have laughed that much in years. The characters playing Bella & Edward did a huge disservice to them---no onscreen chemistry at all. Read the books, wait for the movie to come out on dvd (just to appease your curiosity), but it definitely was not worth it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
