The first time was good, but I would have to say I fell into the typical trap of someone who loved the books..and was probably way to keyed up for the midnight show. I thought that the movie cut out some of the development in the relationships. There were a few scenes with Edward that the director really should have re-worked (he was clearly overthinking his acting) and the 1900's Cullen flashback was hokey!
Overall, I thought the casting was very good. Rob P just needs a little work relaxing. I left the midnight showing feeling somewhat let down. I went to see it again and enjoyed it tremendously. I am sure I will see it a few more times!!
