Lots of fun!

I saw this movie with my 13 year old daughter and her friend. We have all read the books and we all loved the movie. I thought it was great fun and it stuck to the book pretty well. I liked that the director was able to keep the story tongue-in-cheek in many places. I actually liked the characters better in the movie than I did in the books. Be prepared to hear the young girls scream for Edward (and Jacob), but to me that added to the fun!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
