Purists, be prepared

For those who have read the book, but haven't resigned themselves to the fact that the movie is an adaptation of the novel, you will most likely be disappointed. But if you can accept that not every line (or, really, even many lines) of dialogue from the book are going to make it into the film, you will be enthralled. There are parts of Twilight that will make you want to scream "Yes!" (please don't scream, though). Other parts will leave you wondering where on earth they got that idea (and not in a good way). Overall, the film is beautiful, captures the general spirit of the novel, and in many cases left me breathless. With that said, I'm off to see it again today!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
