I enjoyed the movie as well..... like mentioned before, it's hard to adapt a book into a movie!!! But I think they did good. I've seen the movie twice already and will be seeing it again.

I took my daughter to see the movie and I actually enjoyed it myself. The songs were fun and seeing it on a big screen was neat. My daughter of course absolutely loved it!!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
