As an overall comparison to the other two movies, this movie was a failure in contrast to its predecessors. None of the scenes shown from the trailer were included and as it turns out, those were the best scenes; as I beg to ask the question, were we watching clips from the already made 4th movie and just duped into watching this film? Don’t believe the hype of the 4 and 5 stars ratings, the movie was slow, boring and bland, and aside from the traditional scares from the other 2, this movie added nothing new dimensionally to the series. This series reminds me of watching the Blair Witch project and after a great first start we are delivered the next installment and left to go home disappointed. The more reviews I read on this site stating the movie was excellent, the more I believe someone involved with this movie is doing damage control. I must say for validity purposes that am a huge horror movie buff from the original Exorcist to Paranormal Activity 3 with Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Saw, Hills have eyes, Wrong turn and many others in between but this movie was simply a failure. Don’t waste your time buying it, rent it once from On demand and move on.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Other than the death scenes which in my opinion were not that great, I thought the movie was rather boring. The movie really contained no substance, the new characters were poorly developed and the journey along the way seemed rather predictable. This movie was not made with the intentions of closure or making a great film rather it was set to merely try and continue a series that honestly needs to come to an end.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
