I went to see this movie with the understanding that it would of course deviate from the book since it's a 400 pg. book modified into a 2 hour long movie. I was pleasantly surprised!
Although, there were some alterations in the time line, sequence of events, and execution of dialouge they stayed true to the characters and spirit of the book even at times quoting it verbatim.
It was also an amazing experience to be a part of an audience that was so at one with each other while watching thie movie.
Edward finally kisses Bella and the whole audience lets out the breath they've been holding at once, then laughs at themselves.
Don't be overly critical and don't expect to it to be exactly like the book, but do read it first.
