This movie plot is good, the cinemetography though sucks. In the flying sequences the screen was very herky jerky. I understand the director was trying to give the impression of someone who can't control their own flying but we get the point. Alot of close ups and frame in shots with the actors in face view, which we would've gotten the concept a little away from the actors faces. This is a usual though with Peter Berg the directors films. Other than that the plot was good, a great surprise ending. Charlize Theron is a great versitile actress as you'll see in this movie. Jason Bateman is wonderful comic relief without being stupid and obnoxious. Great movie and to me worth the money.
I was a bit skepticle about Robert Downey, Jr. because of his personal life but he came through in this movie. There's alot of his personality in the character. Great story line it keeps on track and has a reason to every scene. The other characters are very supporting and add to the storyline. My 13 year old son loved it. I know the colors are original in the comics, but they sure are wrong. (Go Gators) All in all the movie is worth seeing if you're a Marvel Comics fan and to take your children to, they'll enjoy it as well. Surprised to see Jon Favreau directed, very pleased, big Favreau fan. Finally stay to the very end, past the credits, there's a teaser of a new super hero. Enjoy!
