An absolutely amazing Carmen! Elina Garanca is fabulous - charming, seductive, athletic, sociopathic, exciting! Kudos to Richard Eyre for terrific directing. Teddy Tahu Rhodes made a wonderful Met debut as Escamillo. Even the children's chorus was wonderful! Great dancing! Great costumes! Great conducting by Seguin, in his Met debut too! Don't miss it.

Wonderful, Awesome! As exciting as the first time I saw a Star Wars or Indiana Jones movie.
