If you love musicals and Fellini, you'll enjoy this movie. Daniel Day Lewis does a great job with a Roman Italian accent, he is more Fellini than Marcello Mastroianni, Penelope Cruz is sexy and funny, Fergie gives a powerful performance, and Kate Hudson does one of the most entertaining dance numbers seen on screen. This movie is not a serious film, it's pure entertainment. We've seen it twice already.
This movie might have been funny if Oliver Stone had used puppets instead of real actors. I kept wondering what movie the lady behind me was watching because she was the only one laughing. I counted five people on my row sleeping. Terrible movie.
