Good cast selection - especially Lisbeth and Mikael. For those who have read the book, quite a bit is left out, but not too much that is significant in the storyline. Lisbeth is far more sociable in the movie. What they did include in the movie - they got RIGHT! Graphic scenes with Bjurman were necessary to convey Lisbeth's story and very well done. Excellent job by Trent Reznor on the music. I hope he gets the opportunity to do more films. If you haven't read the book, you should. I hope the box office returns warrant making the other two books into movies.
Best movie of the books so far, but the bar was not set very high. In a book that heavily involved the Volturi, they are almost non-existent in the movie. Too bad because Dakota Fanning could be a bright spot as far as actors. Kristen Stewart brings no depth to her role. Despite her supposed real life romance with Robert Pattinson, their on-screen scenes lack chemistry. If you haven't read the books, the story is lost.
