A disappointment!

I was disappointed! The book was great, but I think it's diificult to make a movie from a book where most of the text is what's going on in a characters head. Stephanie Meyer has a way with words that may not transfer well to the screen. There wasn't enough character development in the movie. Nothing in the movie hints at why they feel the way they feel or what changes. The movie should have been lush and sensory, but it's flat and drab, Edward looks like Edward Scissorhands in some of the shots! The movie picks up mid-way, and I did like the baseball scene a lot!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
