Seeing The Godfather remastered and on the big screen was like a bolt of lightening reminding me why this movie is a cinematic masterpiece. How awesome that a movie can be at the same time powerfully dramatic and subtle. Even after seeing it ten or more times over the years I was in awe of how much it moved me. Maybe it was just the shock of seeing a brilliant movie that sustained brilliance for three hours on the big screen. Seems like a rarity now. Except of course Beverly Hills Chihuahua Ha! ;)
