Seen 'em all and this is, by far, the best one, filled with unceasing action and suspense. However, I'd be a bit cautious with the younger children seeing the film in that, obviously, the characters are now post-puberty and the film strongly reflects this "growing up." Harry Potter with hormones, to be sure. Still, an exciting and suspenseful film deserving of praise.
What a great film, especially for those of us who are Eastwood fans or contemporaries of his. Excellent story line, lighthearted at times yet replete with a strong emphasis on basic human decency with a character with a war-based troubled soul who redeems himself in a most unlikely way. Go see it!
This has got to be Ed Harris' dream movie 'cause his mark is all over it- not just the fine acting. Though the script is very, very predictable, it is a fun movie done in the good ol' fashioned way apart from the complex charater of Rene Zelweiger and the more graphic scenes/language. Leave your brain at home and have fun!
