I absolutely loved it! I had my doubts about the lead actors being able to convey the emotions correctly and about the special effects, but I'll admit that I was wrong and pleasantly surprised with both. The actors did a fantastic job showing all the right emotions even though there was not a lot of time allotted to do so. And the FX weren't as horrible as I thought they were going to be, still corny, but not anything that took away from the movie. The only complaint I have is everything went so quickly, no time to really explain a lot, so I am worried that people who haven't read the book may be a bit confused about some things. But overall I definitely recommend you go see this movie, it's a style unlike anything else you've seen!

I was very skeptical when I bought my tickets; I really didn't think it was going to be that good of a movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of very funny moments as soon as the movie began, pulling you in. I actually think this movie is a lot better than some of the others of its "kind", ex. Pineapple Express or Superbad. Very predictable, but still entertaining. Even my boyfriend who pretty much condemned the movie before I even bought the tickets walked out saying "Ok, that was better than I expected." So overall, if you are looking for a stupidly funny sort of movie I recommend seeing it.
