Somewhat Disappointing

As an avid Twilight fan, I have been anticipating this movie for months. I stayed up late on a work night and braved the midnight showing. I felt that the pace was a little awkward, there were way too many cheesy close ups, most of the acting was only so-so, and the sweeping music (the score, not the soundtrack) was very distracting. It was good, but certainly not great. The shining moments for me were the scenes with Bella's dad, Charlie, and the fight scene at the end. I would definitely recommend the books over the movie.
