Good Movie... for one time viewing

its a good movie for first time viewing. but for kids 7 and older. My 5 and 3 year olds "cried" during the dog chasing scenes and felt scared.
Otherwise good animation, story line.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

the movie is perfect in respects of direction, acting, action. the story is well-crafted such that you can easily follow into the "star trek" series.
Enjoyed the exchange between Kirk and Spock, although a little difficult to absorb "Uhura & Spock".
nevertheless, can go and watch this movie multiple times for the action!!
