Anna Faris is photogenic and has comedic sense, which is a rare combination that I appreciate. She reminds me of Christina Applegate. The movie is light fun and worth seeing, reminicent of the original Austin Powers. With a inspirational message that, we don't have to stay in our rut. We can all improve ourselves if we try.
Note to DeNiro: In the future, keep your shirt on. No one wants to see a wrinkled old man on the big screen. Also, the sex scene seemed contrived to recreate some of the agression from Cape Fear.
50 Cent made a good showing as the sucessful business man (which he is) nightclub owner.
This movie has a scene where a soldier exhibits insubordination by spitting into the canteen before handing it to his superior officer. I thought this scene was unfair and a dis-service to contemporary black men serving in the military men as it perpetuates this unprofessional stereotype. Also there is a scene where soldiers engage in armed robbery, to get icecream? Overall this movie is not as funny as Tropic Thunder but it is equally absurd.
