I was supposed to go see this movie with a friend who had seen it before as I was wondering if I could see it by myself. I am a 'survivor' and was a bit concerned about my own feelings given the theme of the movie. I have to say that it did impact me, but in a moving and powerful way. I appreciate the COURAGE that it took to make a truthful movie about this issue and that the writer, director and actors portrayed it in such a way that I feel confident encouraging other survivors and counselors to see it. I do caution, however, the 'realness' of some of the scenes may be painful to some.
I will never forget this movie and am thankful to all of the actresses in particular.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
