I loved RENT on Broadway and loved the movie. I thought this was fantastic, all the performances were great. If you were never able to see it live then this is as close as you can get. I liked the close ups, they all had such emotion and Mimi had a little bit of a hard edge but she's supposed to. The whole audience was having a great time! Check it out if you can. I really hope they release this on DVD!
