This movie literally scared the dickens out of me. I went home, stayed up until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore, grabbed my cat to ward off evil spirits, and locked the door. It was a mixture of hilarity and "that's freakin' scary". The movie was fantastic in the scare department, I never knew what hit me (until the end.) Who knew a slaming door would be so scary? But the audience reaction was great. No shushing in that theater. Watch it with a friend, or ten...
