Not only could I comprehend the stage and the plot so much more, but the actors were fantastic. Not as amazing as the original, but still. I've seen RENT on Broadway before and didn't cry as hard as I did during the movie. That could be because I now know it's over, but the actors were fantastic. Adam Kantor was fantastic and was it just me, or did he sound like Anthony Rapp at times? I know I keep saying fantastic, but Will Chase was as well. My favorite Roger so far, even beats Adam Pascal. I was a little nervous that they were making RENT into a movie with the final performance, because the actors weren't as substantial as the original cast, but now I can't wait for the DVD to come out. Viva La Vie Boheme.
