It's a Tour de Force. The Met outdid itself in the presentation of this joyful and beautiful opera.
Diego Flores was outstanding, singing beautifully and with much feeling. La Calumnia by Don Basilio was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed The Barber of Seville.
I agree that the sound was way too loud at the beginning of the presentation and it was abruptly lowered at one point. But, I assume that was Cinema error.
