One of the Best Birthday Gifts

For my birthday (09/25/08), I decided to treat myself to watch it in the theaters. Although I was never blessed to see it on Broadway, and all I knew was the theatrical version, I loved experiencing this masterpiece like this. I may never be deemed a true Renthead, but I love Rent regardless. I loved seeing the contrasts between the theatre and movie version. I understand the storyline much better now. Even my mother, who never knew about Rent at all, said it was good. It was a memorable birthday. Believe me, this is well worth the money.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
