RENT or buy this movie!

I saw RENT for the first time here in Boise when a tour company performed it and I fell in love with the songs and the characters. I was happy to relive this experience when the movie version by Chris Columbus came out, and for the most part, I liked the movie a lot. However, after seeing the filmed last live stage performance at the Nederland, I know that this version of RENT is the one I want to watch in the future!! What a thrill to be in the audience to see this production. We all clapped, laughed, and cried. By the end, I felt that I had been on that stage with the characters. Count me in as one who will definitely buy this if it is released on dvd. Please, if there is a theatre god or goddess, let this be released on dvd!!
