Absolutely stunning! Voices were so appropriate to the roles played. Staging was clever and perfect for the characters, especially the Rhein maidens.
It was my first experience with Wagner on stage and I look forward to the rest of the Ring.

What a wonderful opportunity for us in the Metropolitan New Orleans area to see opera at its best. The "stars" were wonderful with beautiful voices. Staging was exciting with creative changes for each act.
However, the theater was cold and the sound was scratchy. I think it was one of the theater's speakers and not the transmission.
Overall, though, it was a delightful experience.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! BREATHTAKING! GLORIOUS VOICES FILLING THE THEATER.

I FELT CHILLS AND THRILLS AS I SAT THERE ENJOYING IT ALL!!!
GLITCHES WERE PRESENT AND THE STAGE APPEARED TOO DARK AT TIMES, BUT WHAT THE HECK, OVERALL, A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. THANKS TO WHOMEVER THOUGHT OF ALL THIS.

MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

It was like magic experiencing such creative costumes and sets and beautiful voices to tell a simple and beautiful story about love. This was our first time to see this opera and it was a delightful experience. Papageno was outstanding. So was the Queen...... and all of the others.

We were thrilled to see such a wonderful production from the Met. The singers were the best, the acting was superb and most of all, we were seeing a first-rate production from New York in our own locale, only 20 minutes away from our home. Stadium type seating in the theater was a plus. Also, showing us backstage and the set-ups for each act was very informative and exciting. I can't wait for the second one.

Absolutely Wonderful

This was my first opera in a theater. And to see it in a stadium setting, in beautiful color, and very close up. To see the expressions, and the reactions of the singers was great.
Also, the sound in these theaters is so wonderful.
I plan to see as many as possible in the coming season.
We have already recommended this venue to many friends.
