Wonderful performance by all three of the principals. A thoroughly enjoyable comic opera (no one dies or is killed). Those who missed it can catch the Encore performance on December 1.

This is the first opera we have seen live this season, but we did see three last season as well. The picture and sound were terrific. The lead singers were all in top form. We especially liked Johan Botha whom we had never previously heard. If you missed this perfoemance, you can still catch the encore performance at a local theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
