I really don't know why this opera isn't performed more. It was fantastic. The orchestral score was fabulous! I was surprised when I heard the Saxophone come in as it usually isn't in the orchestra, but it's use was wonderful where the solo was placed.
All singers were wonderful with the exception of Mr. Morris who was having some pitch problems periodically. Maybe he was just tired.
Hamlet and Ophelia were outstanding. Amzazing that Marlis could do such a great job with such short notice. I really look forward to May for the last simulcast.
