Rent Filmed Live On Broadway

This filming of the Broadway play is excellent! I've seen the play in New York 9 times within the past two years, and seeing this movie gave me the same feeling as being in the Nederlander. I just wanted to clap and cheer on the characters during the play, and I also wanted to "MOOO", but I had to restrain myself. I liked the close-ups because it gave each character more emotion that is hard to see when you're in the audience at the Nederlander. However, I do feel that some of the play was lost with the zoom-ins because we lost what has happening in other parts of the stage. I did love it though, and I would love to buy it if it comes out to DVD. It's a well-done tribute to Jonathan Larson and his brilliant work.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
