It may have been bit slow of pace, but it had some very funny lines in between the more intense portion of the film.
The acting was superb.

Best Stiller Comedy!!!

Without a doubt, this is Ben Stiller's best comedy. Better than, "Something about Mary"
If you are 38 to 60...this movie will probably make you laugh so hard you'll pass a stone.
Conveat, this is definitely a 14 years and older movie with the 14 year old being fairly intelligent(worldly).. However, they will miss the 70s TV reference unless they watch Nick @ Night or old reruns.

Better than 300 - Great Movie
Better than Xmen I Good Movie
Better tham MIB I Good/Funny Movie
Better than Iron Man (Really Good) & Hulk (Good) Combined and they were pretty good movies
Best movie since LOTRs( I & II Best movies ever made)

Faithful to the Comic

I'm not an Iron Man fan, but after reading the Iron Man Bio on Wikipedia...I'd say they were very faithful. Robert Downey Jr was perfect and for that matter the rest of the cast worked very well. Nicely paced and very very funny. I have teenage boys and could have done without the very suggestive content in the beginning, we get it, he's a playboy. All in all, an excellent comic book adaptation. Definitely the best comic-turned movie since Spiderman.
