"Tosca " was wonderful but the intermissions were too long -- 20 minutes. 10 minutes would be better. Also , the interviews were terrible. They were phony and staged and difficult to watch. It's hard to be a good interviewer and if they are not going to be first-rate like the opera, why have them. It's not necessary . People come to see the opera . If they want interviews they can watch tv. Plus it takes away from the flow of the opera . But the opera? Pure heaven!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I went to the live audition at the Met. This was better. Thrilling, touching, not-to be missed film. I'm telling everyone to see it.

Fabulous! If you can't be at the Met, see it at a movie theater. Incredible picture & sound. A thrilling experience!
