Magnificent and wonderful production of this joyful and comic opera by Donizetti. The team of Netrebko, Polenzani, Kwiecien and Del Carlo was awesome. Great voicers and superb acting. The sceneries ands costumes excellent.
The Met Opera Live HD is a great way to learn, while enjoying the best opera performers in the world. It has changed my life for the better!
My only complaint is that the cinemas are too cold!

This was another great performance by the Met. This is wonderful way of seeing and learning about opera. The intermission discussion with Placido Domingo are very good. Back for Carmen in a few days!

This is the best Hoffmann I have ever seen. The Met is the best in the world today. The quality of the singers was fantastic. The opera direction by Bartlett Sher was just amazing, and the HD transmission very good as usual. Will be back on Saturday for the Rosenkavalier!
