Great coming of age movie within the rough and tumble world of Roller Derby. The movie stars Ellen Page as Bliss (later know as Babe Ruthless). Bliss is stuck in a tiny Texas town working at the local BBQ joint between stints in beauty pageant and high school.
The movie has a wonderful cast and sends a great message that we can all learn from-- be true to yourself and follow your dreams.
It was a great escape.
