Fantastic but undersold!

I LOVE RENT & I was so excited to see the final performance. I am so happy that it was made available to people outside of NYC but I was sad to see how undersold they were. The Westminster, CO Thurs showing was only 8% sold. We loved being the only one in there so we could sing along at the top of our lungs. All that being said, it was an amazing show and I am glad I got to see it. We could have paid less & just walked in (it was empty) we were happy to pay $20 in Jonathan Larson's honor (his $20 rule served me well). I wish the cuts weren't so fast & there were more master shots of the stage but you saw so much acting that you never get to see in a proscenium staged show. What a GREAT bonus to have the original cast come out & sing!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
